ROLE PURPOSE
The Digital Campaign Manager is responsible for driving Guardian Singapore’s e‑commerce and omnichannel growth through the planning, execution, and optimisation of integrated digital campaigns across Guardian App & Web, Marketplace, and Quick Commerce platforms.
The role works closely with Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners to deliver campaigns that achieve performance targets in sales, margin, income, and availability. The Digital Campaign Manager also drives digital joint business planning (JBPs) with suppliers, developing omnichannel commercial propositions and ensuring Guardian captures its fair share of the growing e‑commerce market.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Digital Trade & Campaign Planning
· Partner with Commercial and Marketing to translate trade plans into integrated digital campaigns across Guardian’s digital channels.
· Own the digital campaign calendar, aligning it with national marketing priorities and supplier JBPs.
· Develop campaign briefs, creative requirements, and timelines to ensure flawless execution.
· Review promotional performance, analyse mechanics, and refine approaches to maximise effectiveness and ROI.
· Build forecasts and develop action plans to ensure business team stay on track to deliver objectives.
2. Supplier & Category Partnerships
· Work with suppliers to co-develop digital trade plans as part of annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
· Collaborate with strategic and exclusive brand partners to design digital activations that differentiate Guardian online.
· Work with the Head of Business Development in commercialising new initiatives and creating digital extensions to offline services.
· Stay abreast of market and competitor developments, using insights to recommend range, pricing, and availability actions to the Category Management team.
3. Commercial Propositions & Income Growth
· Develop and maintain online media rate cards (banners, landing pages, content modules) and sell these opportunities to suppliers to increase income.
· Create new commercial propositions that leverage online as an extension of Guardian’s offline stores.
· Partner with suppliers and the commercial team to profitably grow Guardian’s online assortment across different fulfilment models (e.g. central warehouse, in-store picking).
4. Omnichannel Campaign Execution
· Ensure consistent and effective delivery of promotions across Guardian App & Web, Marketplace and Quick Commerce.
· Work with Supply Chain and Fulfilment teams to ensure stock sufficiency and availability of campaign SKUs.
5. Cross-Functional & External Collaboration
· Act as a key partner to Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain in delivering trade and promotional success.
· Coordinate with Finance, Customer Service, and external platform teams to ensure smooth campaign execution and quick resolution of issues.
· Manage platform-level relationships with Marketplace and Quick Commerce for campaign opportunities, co-marketing, and shared KPIs.
6. Team Leadership & Capability Building
· Lead and coach the campaign execution team to ensure operational excellence.
· Strengthen digital trade knowledge and campaign capability within Guardian Singapore, positioning the digital team as a partner for omnichannel growth.
· Foster a high-performance culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum Bachelor in Business majors: business administration, marketing, international business
· Strong experience in category management, trade and digital marketing, e-commerce operations
· Proven experience in digital campaign planning, trade marketing, or category management.
· Strong commercial acumen, with ability to balance supplier engagement, campaign ROI, and income generation.
· Skilled at supplier negotiations, JBP alignment, and developing digital commercial propositions.
· Strong analytical skills to review promotional performance, competitor insights, and customer trends.
· Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across a matrix organisation.
· Experience leading and developing a team.
· Familiarity with Magento, marketplace tools, and digital analytics platforms is an advantage.
