Is this your next challenge as Enterprise and Solution Architect Lead

We seek an employee to bridge the gap between enterprise architecture vision and practical implementation, ensuring technology choices and project designs align with business goals and architecture principles.

 

The challenge is to:


Architecture Execution

  • Drive practical implementation of EA policies across cloud, integration, data flow, and application domains.
  • Lead high-level solution design reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise tech direction.
  • Involve in major projects or projects without good solutioning team members. Involves from solution design to delivery.

 

Project Guidance & Design Authority

  • Work closely with project teams to shape solutions that meet architecture and policy requirements.
  • Act as a design authority, especially for key initiatives (e.g. cloud migration, SaaS selection, critical API integrations, application modernisation).

 

Technology Enablement

  • Establish reference architectures, solution blueprints, and reusable design patterns.
  • Help projects adopt cloud-native, API-first, scalable and cost-effective architectures.

 

Governance & Compliance

  • Facilitate architecture reviews, maintain tech debt registers, and ensure architecture exceptions are managed properly.
  • Guide teams to align with data protection, security (with support of InfoSec Team), and resilience policies.

 

Coaching & Collaboration

  • Mentor tech leads and architects, uplift architecture awareness across Group Tech teams.
  • Act as collaboration point of solutioning and delivery, for Solution Delivery Teams, BU Tech, Infra, and InfoSec Teams.

 

Do you have experience in?

 

 Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in cloud-native architecture (especially Azure, AWS, GCP or AliCloud).
  • Hands-on with microservices, containers, CI/CD, resilience, and observability stacks.
  • Solid knowledge of API architecture (REST, GraphQL, event-driven) and real-time integration (Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar).
  • Comfortable evaluating SaaS platforms and managing integration/security architecture for them.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, infrastructure as code, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity.

 

Certifications (Desirable)

  • TOGAF or equivalent (but not purely academic)
  • Certified Cloud Architect (Azure/AWS/GCP/Alicloud)
  • Kubernetes Administrator or equivalent

Education and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT professional within the retail, marketing and loyalty functional area.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solution architecture using modern technology stacks.
  • Involved in at least 1 to 2 end to end retail IT project execution, design and implementation. Non-retail project experience with good exposure is also considered.
