The challenge is to:
- Manage routine & ad hoc maintenance and planned preventive maintenance work for chain retail stores and warehouses in Hong Kong and Macau.
- Organize and coordinate emergency repair requests, and issue and prioritize work orders through the DFI in-house systems.
- Responsible for the planning, sourcing, procurement, logistic management of supplies and building materials.
- Handle tender documents independently and complete contract administration accordingly.
- Support and assist the superiors in the coordination of work between business units and external parties.
- Interface with all relevant parties including contractors, landlords, government authorities and internal departments, to ensure works are completed according to business plan and pre-determined service level.
- Support consumables requests and assist in maintaining accurate equipment inventory records. Provide administrative support and maintain record.
- Review Facility Management related data and be able to conduct data analysis independently; and present findings and recommendations to DFI stakeholders.
- Perform emergency duty out of official working hours as the need arises, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Do you have experience in Facility / Property / Project / Building Services Management?
- Diploma holder in Property / Facilities Management, Building Services Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in providing maintenance services in Facility / Property / Project / Building Services Management. Experience in retail store operations preferred.
- Candidates, who have less Facilities Management experience, but can demonstrate strong eagerness to learn and be part of our Facility Management team to contribute to roadmap to reach excellence and drive continuous improvement.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Good knowledge in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
- Willingness to learn, use and share new skills e.g., AI tools, Power BI, and other tools e.g. Drone and AI video clipping techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
- A meticulous, confident, and positive collaborator with a “CAN DO” demeanor, and ability to withstand pressure.
