- Produce and provide accurate and timely financial / management information, with insightful commercial analytics support to business leaders, for making better informed decisions so that we achieve our business goals.
- Gatekeep one version of financial truth for DFI Retail Group.
- Present factual numbers to Senior Leadership Team, Board and Shareholders.
- Own planning process of DFI Retail Group, linking Group Strategic Priorities to operating plans of business units.
- Track & review daily / weekly trading performances and independently project sales and profit forecasts.
- Challenge capital allocation versus profitability, cash and returns of business units, with independent view on business unit projection.
- Report to the Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager, support in co-ordination of the planning processes as well as delivery of key management reports and various analytics.
- Compile, provide and analyse data accurately and on time.
- Prepare operational reporting with great clarity for financial performance review of assigned Division / Market.
- Construct statistical reports to support multiple benchmarking analysis which clearly lead to better informed decisions.
- Provide analytical support for strategic planning and forecasting processes.
- Master understanding of data sources for reports and how they are used.
- Organize tasks and ways of working to be able to efficiently respond to change.
- Recommend to managers on opportunities to improve processes.
- Collaborate with Finance Accounting & Controls team and other Finance Specialist teams on Accounting, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Tax and Audit matters.
- Embrace high transparency inter & intra team knowledge sharing.
Do you have experience in Financial Analytics and Commercial Analysis?
- A university degree in Accounting / Finance with a professional accounting qualification
- At least 8 years working experience in retail / commercial industry
- Strong retail planning and analytical skills
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and good command of English and Chinese
- Knowledge in SAP and Hyperion Financial Management application is desirable
- Good business acumen, great passion to excel, initiative and detailed oriented
