 About the role
 

  • Being the Finance Lead on ERP and other projects:
    • Participate in each of the project phases, e.g. getting user requirements, system and process design, data cleansing and migration process, validation of accounting treatments and accounting entries, UAT test arrangement and workflow
    • Perform reconciliation and checking on the accounting entries generated, interfaces and reports generated after the system go live
    • Also need to lead and drive the finance process revamp after system implementation
  • Leading the transformation Initiatives: Implement strategies and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness (including transformation on end-to-end process outside finance).
  • Change Management: Support the management in managing the change process within the finance function, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Risk Management Assistance: Help identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaboration with related parties: Work closely with the team and finance stakeholders to understand the goals, align transformation initiatives with objectives, and ensure successful implementation through collaborative efforts.
  • Effective Communication: Provide regular updates to management on the progress of transformation projects, including challenges and proposed solutions, while supporting financial analysis to offer insights for decision-making and achieving financial objectives.
  • Perform BAU tasks if required

 

  Do you have experience in Finance and ERP Project Experience?

  • Bachelor degree with CPA Qualification
  • Possesses strong financial accounting technical knowledge, with strong understanding on systems and processes, with a focus on driving operational excellence
  • Familiar with accounting standards such as IFRS, Big 4 trained up will be an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in using ERP system and experience in different phases of core business project rollouts, knowledge of ERP implementation (e.g. Oracle Retails) is a definite advantage
  • Ability to listen and articulate ideas verbally and in written formats, and interact professionally with diverse groups of stakeholders 
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and a track record of driving change and innovation in a Finance-related role
  • Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure and meet tight timeline
