Is this your next challenge in financial analysis? 

The challenge is to: 


  • Partner directly with project managers and digital leads as the finance representative on key strategic yuu and digital initiatives. 
  • Manage the end-to-end project financial lifecycle, from initial budget creation to monthly forecasting and actual spend tracking. 
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance packs for the leadership team, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the yuu and digital teams, helping them understand their financial performance and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Support on annual and quarterly forecasting processes. 
  • Monitor and support month end closing, propose journal entries, reconciliations and working with shared service providers for the loyalty PL. 
  • Perform other ad-hoc analysis and additional related duties as assigned. 

 

Do you have experience in financial analysis?  

  • Bachelor's degree in one or more of the following degrees: Business, Accounting, Commerce or similar qualifications. 
  • A CA/CPA/CIMA professional qualification. 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant finance experience working in both a “Big 4” accounting firm and/or sophisticated and fast paced commercial organizations, preferably within supermarket retail sector or digital sectors. 
  • Less experienced candidates will be considered for the position of Financial Analyst. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas) and PowerPoint 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Prior experience in tech, digital, or loyalty program finance is a significant advantage. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. 
  • Good business sense, analytical skills and an inquisitive mind. 
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English
