Description & Requirements

We are seeking a Group Employee Relations Manager to implement the Employee Relations (ER) framework across all markets. This role will oversee ER initiatives and cultivate a positive workplace culture.


Is this your next challenge in Investigating Employee Relations?

The challenge is to:

  • Conduct and oversee complex, high-visibility investigations into People & Culture (P&C) related matters, including breaches of employment policies, employee misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and workplace disputes.
  • Execute a comprehensive ER strategy that aligns with business objectives and promotes a positive workplace culture across all markets.
  • Keep abreast of the employment regulations and trends across local markets. Maintain robust governance frameworks for ER, ensuring all practices are in compliance with local legal and regulatory standards.
  • Act as the owner of ER related policies for all markets, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Serve as the primary advisor to senior leadership and people managers on complex ER matters.
  • Lead investigations and provide insights and strategic recommendations to resolve conflicts.
  • Oversee the Speak Up mechanism by collaborating with Group Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Legal functions on employment-related litigation and managing employment legal risks.
  • Partner with P&C Business Partners and Country P&C teams to proactively identify, address and manage ER issues, ensuring alignment with corporate values and fair treatment to all team members.
  • Provide advice on effective handling of employee complaints and workplace disputes, including remedial action and consequence management.
  • Utilize data analytics to present trends and insights within ER to the senior management, driving proactive strategy to enhance organizational culture and engagement.
  • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of ER initiatives and report findings to senior management.
  • Design and facilitate comprehensive training programs that promote an open culture and equip leaders with skills to navigate employee relations effectively.


Do you have experience in Investigating Employee Relations?

  • Minimum 5 years in conducting investigations with ER or closely related experience (Human Resources / Legal / Compliance / law enforcement / regulator).
  • Proven track record in developing and executing ER strategies that drive organizational success.
  • Deep understanding of employment ordinance and best practices in ER across various jurisdictions.
  • Strong experience in coaching employees and advising P&C and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills along with an ability to apply judgment to solve sensitive issues.
  • Abiity to take initiatives and operate with a high-level of independence while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in business writing and communication skills, capable of articulating complex issues clearly.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and able to travel for business is required.
