Description & Requirements

We are seeking a Group Employee Relations Senior Manager/ Manager to strategically design and implement the Employee Relations (ER) framework across all markets. This senior role will oversee ER initiatives and cultivate a positive workplace culture while managing a dedicated team.

The challenge is to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Employee Relations strategy that aligns with business objectives and promotes a positive workplace culture across all markets.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks for managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Act as the owner of People & Culture (P&C) policies for all markets, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with best practices and legal requirements
  • Serve as the primary advisor to senior leadership on complex employee relations matters, providing insights and strategic recommendations
  • Serve as the governance of the Speak Up mechanism by collaborating with Internal Audit, Risk Management and Legal functions on employment-related litigation and managing employment legal risks
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Employee Relations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Partner with P&C Business Partners and Country P&C teams to proactively assess and address employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with corporate values
  • Utilize data analytics to present trends and insights within employee relations to the senior management, driving proactive strategy to enhance organizational climate and employee engagement
  • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of ER initiatives and report findings to senior management
  • Design comprehensive training programs that promote an open culture and equip leaders with skills to navigate employee relations effectively.

Do you have experience in Employee Relations?

  • At least 7+ years of employee relations or related experience (Human Resources/ Legal/ Compliance professional)
  • Proven track record in developing and executing high-level ER strategies that drive organizational success
  • Deep understanding of employment ordinance and best practices in Employee Relations
  • Experience in coaching and advising employees, P&C and business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills along with an ability to apply judgment to solve sensitive issues
  • Able to take initiatives and operate with a high-level of independence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders 
  • Proficiency in business writing and communication skills, capable of articulating complex issues clearly
