WHY WE WILL LOVE YOU
- You have 5–7 years of working experience in social media and digital communications, preferably in an advertising or digital communication agency
- You have experience in social media and digital communication management, including agency management, briefing, processes, and webcare
- You have project and process management experience
- You have experience in creative concept evaluation and communication planning
- You have up-to-date knowledge of the social media landscape, including platforms, usage, and measurement
- You have experience in budget management, including forecasting, goal setting, and return on investment
- You have knowledge of marketing and branding, including digital advertising
- You are a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, with good command of Chinese and English
- You have experience in customer-centric businesses, preferably in retail or home furnishing
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Drive the strategy/process for listening and reacting to consumer conversations relating to life at home and the IKEA brand within the digital communication environment
- Lead social media within the campaign planning process ensuring this channel is represented within the overall Marketing Communication mix supporting efficient media brand & visitation campaigns throughout the year
- Plan, optimize and develop the online content including posts, videos, live stream, and engagement activity that meets the needs of our customers, and improve the brand position, customer relationship and stimulate home furnishing interest
- Strategically planning, positioning, and managing creative communications across various social media platforms are aligned with IKEA Values, commercial priority and contribute to business growth
- Manage agency partners to optimise the most efficient and effective digital media platforms for IKEA
- Continuously identify opportunities and create synergy in IKEA NA market to enhance social media campaign effectiveness from a data-driven perspective.
- Be responsible for supporting crisis management from a social media perspective, in coordination with the Customer Relationship, PR and web teams
- Partner with Marketing team members to use digital media as an effective communication channel to promote our home furnishing competence to the widest possible consumer market
- Secure stakeholder engagement to influence and develop good content and professional dialogue with key internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the competence development and engagement of digital media within the organisation through increasing the knowledge and understanding on the role of digital media and providing regular updates to the business
TOGETHER AS A TEAM
To establish the IKEA Brand as the preferred choice in home furnishing products and solutions that create a better everyday life for the many people, thereby reaching the IKEA business objectives. This shall occur by stimulating home furnishing interest in each local market, securing a strong brand and competitive position in each local market, and driving traffic to the IKEA store and IKEA website by attracting new and more visitors to visit more often, and throughout their life stages.
