About the Role
- Implement document control policy for datacentre inventories.
- Escort and standby for BAU datacentre activities and maintenance.
- Maintain and update regional datacentre and IT room operational standard.
- Support to perform datacentre budget forecast (both OPEX and CAPEX), take part in procurement process and assist to onboard IT service management tool - ServiceNow.
- Key learning from this role include:
- Regional exposure to IT infrastructure coordination within a leading retail group
- Hands-on experience managing network-related contracts and budgets
- Opportunities to develop data analysis skills using Excel and Power BI
- Collaboration with multicultural teams across multiple markets
- Mentorship from experienced IT and network professionals
About You
- Students from an Information Technology, or Engineering education background
- Interested in datacentre infrastructure components, including servers, networking, storage, and power/cooling systems
- Self-disciplined and attention to details
- Big picture thinker with an engineering mindset (budget management, procurement and planning, working with others, implementation and acceptance)
- Enthusiastic with the ability to understand why we are committed to business with a 7x24 mentality
- Cross-cultural communication to work with colleagues from SEA region
- Open minded and open to innovative ideas
