THE JOB
Macau plays a crucial role in Mannings' business, the dynamics of the tourist business and marketing landscape are evolving rapidly, requiring retailers to be agile. We are seeking a capable individual to join our team in a role primarily focused on operations execution and planning. This position will collaborate closely with other functions, including:
- Commercial: Collaborate on product range and promotional strategies.
- Marketing: Work together on point-of-purchase (POP) displays and advertising initiatives.
- Supply Chain: Ensure stock availability and smooth delivery processes.
- Work together to plan and optimize workforce and handle people related matters.
Key Roles:
- Serve as the leader and owner of the Macau business, overseeing the P&L for a total of 22 stores and leading a team of 300+ team members.
- Lead the store execution team and cross-functional teams to develop effective plans that maximize business potential, drive productivity, and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement process solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations and systems.
- Ensure business, people, and transformation plans are well-thought-out, communicated, and executed.
- Act as the management representative in the Jardine Macau leadership committee.
The Person:
- Tertiary education or equivalent
- 5-8 years of general management experience in retail, beauty, fashion, luxury, or related industries, preferably in FMCG or health product-related businesses
- Strong experience in retail operations and management
- Market sensitivity and exceptional international skills
- Customer-oriented, mature, results-oriented mindset and can work independently
- Strong analytical abilities, leadership and people management skills
