Description & Requirements

The People Technology Assistant Manager is a technical role responsible for analyzing detailed functional and technical requirements and ensuring that SAP SuccessFactors solutions of each module - Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance Management, Talent & Succession fully meet these specifications. Reporting to the People Technology Programme Manager, this role works closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to support the delivery of compliant, effective P&C technology solutions.

The challenge is to:

  • Analyze and assess detailed functional and technical requirements provided by business analysts or stakeholders for SAP SuccessFactors modules and related systems.
  • Support system configuration and integration development to ensure solutions align precisely with business requirements, leveraging standard platform capabilities and best practices, and minimizing customizations.
  • Support the design and validation of integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and downstream systems to guarantee data integrity and process continuity.
  • Drive system testing activities, including developing test cases, coordinating UAT, and ensuring timely resolution of defects or issues.
  • Ensure all configurations and solutions comply with relevant data privacy regulations, security standards, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of requirements, configurations, test plans, and outcomes.
  • Work closely with SI, AMS, and DFI internal HRIS and IT teams to support technical delivery and quality assurance.
  • Assist in post-implementation support activities, including troubleshooting, solution improvements, and user support.


Do you have experience in people technology project management?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR technology or IT roles, preferably with exposure to SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Good command of English, and Chinese.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, adapting quickly to change and managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and validate detailed functional and technical requirements.
  • Experience in system testing methodologies, UAT facilitation, and issue tracking processes.
  • Attention to details with excellent organizational and documentation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security compliance in HR systems.
