The challenge is to:
Hong Kong Business Development
- Conduct market and industry research to identify high-potential partner categories and prospects.
- Prepare tailored outreach materials and pitch decks aligned to prospective partner needs.
- Support senior BD team members across outreach, lead generation, negotiations, contract discussions, and closing of new partnerships.
- Build simple commercial models to support deal structuring and demonstrate partner ROI.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for prospects and activities, and provide regular pipeline updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, operations, finance, legal) to support partner onboarding.
yuu for Business / Corporate
- Identify and pursue points sales opportunities with corporate clients, positioning yuu points as a customer or employee benefit.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing corporate clients, understanding their needs, and aligning them with our offerings.
Do you have experience in Business Development?
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in business development, sales or related roles — preferably in loyalty, retail, fintech, travel, e-commerce, or consumer brands.
- Proven experience in prospecting, outreach, lead generation, or pipeline building.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand and articulate value propositions across different partner industries (e.g., retail, dining, financial services, utilities, digital platforms).
- Creative problem solver with strong research and analytical skills to assess partner fit and model potential ROI.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging senior external stakeholders.
- Comfortable with outbound outreach, including cold e-mails, LinkedIn outreach, calls, and handling initial objections.
- Existing partner or client network in the retail, financial services, employee benefits or related industries is a plus.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written)
yuu Rewards club and online shopping platform yuu was launched in Hong Kong in 2020 and now serves 4.2 million members. It allows members to earn points at more than 2,500 outlets, from partners including Wellcome, Market Place, Mannings, 7-Eleven, IKEA, KFC, Pizza Hut, PHD, Maxim’s Groups, Shell, Livi Bank and more.
