- You have minimum 10 years of experience in sales operations and delivering results
- You have minimum 5 years of experience in leading and influencing co-workers
- You have experience from retail, preferably home furnishing sector
- You have experience in planning, driving output and measuring performance (business)
- You have broad knowledge about the local market environment, expectations from customers today and tomorrow to secure that commercial and service offers meet customer demands and needs in all touch points
- You have broad knowledge of sales mechanisms and the pulse of the market (customers, competition, news)
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Lead the development of Launch packages through the Commercial activity working group
- Develop the Commercial Calendar through providing an overall plan to support seasonality and sales priorities
- Ensure launch operational procedures are met and coordinate tasks related to planning and execution of launches
- Plan, execute and follow up the performance of Selling related activities during and after execution in order to identify improvement areas
- Measure performance through on time and complete process management of the commercial calendar, including alignment with marketing and supply, and contribution of promotional events to overall growth goals
- Act as a member of the Sales team and proactively contribute to the Selling agenda in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals
- Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and to maximize impact (for example Digital, CFF (Customer Fulfilment), Communications, Sustainability, BNOF (Business Navigation Operations & Finance), People & Culture)
- Act as a coach and mentor to CMP commercial activity leaders to build their competence and improve execution of launches
- Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to the transformation of IKEA
- Take on additional Sales tasks and projects as they occur
