The challenge is to: 

• Shape the role of financial business partnership in Asia, working closely with the yuu leadership team to lead and develop the annual budget and re-forecasts including commentary for regular business review (Business Partnering)
• Play a key role in the formulation of the business's strategy, lead and support development the financial strategy needed to support business objectives (Business Partnering)
• Manage regular reporting and presentation of financial results, insights and operational updates to the board (Reporting)
• Manage the end-to-end financial reporting and operation. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, long term financial plans and all statutory financial reporting
• Provide complete, accurate and timely management reporting and business insights to senior management, including deep dive root cause analysis, identify cost savings opportunities
• Perform regular assessment on key business assumptions and risks, including future redemption rate etc.
• Provide sound financial support and insights to stakeholders to enable sound business decisions making
• Work closely with business development team on the engaging and onboarding of new business partners, including assessing the ROI of business case, reviewing commercial terms, and ensuring financial system readiness for accurate financial reporting
• Work closely with partnership team to ensure business initiatives are financially viable
• Manage the external auditor relationship and ensure the company is compliant with accounting standards
• Manage and oversee the taxation affairs of the company and liaise with the internal and external tax teams for specialist advice 

Do you have experience in financial anaysis? 

• A CA/CPA/CIMA/CFA qualification
• 5+ years of relevant commercial finance experience working with complex organisations, turnaround, face paced environment, preferably within supermarket retail, big4 and strategy consulting
• Proven experience in structured problem solving with the ability to identify financial opportunities / issues and implement continuous improvement
• Strong management and influencing skills
• The ability to review processes to understand impacts on financial outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
• Exceptional in engaging, collaborating and influencing both financial and non-financial stakeholders such as Commercial / Merchandising / Buying, Supply Chain, Operations functions
• Strong culture awareness in Asia, a good command of English and Asian language (verbal and written)
• Strong strategy and project manage experience, including project planning, scheduling and accountability management
• Ability to facilitate and orchestrate complex discussions, engage participants in collaborative, drive meetings forward whiles effectively handling conflicting opinions
• A “gravitas” so as to hold the business to account in delivery its performance objectives
