The Head of Business Development will lead the development and execution of new business opportunities for Guardian Singapore, with a primary focus on expanding our service offerings, particularly health and beauty services. This role will also contribute to the overall health and beauty strategy development and execution for Singapore, working closely with the Director of Omnichannel and Business Development. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in business development, project management, and strategic thinking.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Develop and Implement New Service Streams: Lead the identification, development, and implementation of new in-store health and beauty services, including market research, feasibility studies, business case development, and operational rollout.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the overall health and beauty strategy for Guardian Singapore, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the health and beauty services sector.
• Project Management: Manage cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful launch and ongoing operation of new services, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, marketing, commercial) and external partners (e.g., vendors).
• Financial Performance: Monitor the financial performance of new services, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Innovation & Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the health and beauty space and identify opportunities for Guardian to differentiate itself.
• Reporting: Regularly report on progress, challenges, and opportunities to the Director of Omnichannel and Business Development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, project management, or management consulting, preferably within the retail, healthcare, or beauty industry. 
• Proven track record of successfully developing and launching new products or services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in the health and beauty industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Singapore market is essential.
