  • You have experience of using commercial opportunities to attract visitors
  • You have experience of managing/leading and developing a team

  • You have business experience and knowledge from either IKEA Food or another part of IKEA retailing
  • You are preferably gained in an IKEA store or similar food service/hospitality environment
  • You have knowledge of the IKEA Concept, including our vision and business idea, IKEA culture and values, and how we create our business advantages
  • You are ability to read and understand written English and good communication in English
  • You are proficient in MS Office
  • You have at least 5 years of experience of management role in high volume restaurant

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Customers are always in focus and strive to make them smile. Meet and serve our customers showing empathy, care, listen and support them with an attitude based on the IKEA values, follow up the customer feedback regularly with action
  • Together with the team contribute actively to the development and implementation of a clear IKEA Food action plan for the store using the store business plan and country business plan. These are supported by input from Growing IKEA together and the IKEA Food Direction & Strategy
  • Work closely with Communication & Interior Design team and the Commercial Activity Leader by actively contributing to and supporting all marketing and in-store activities. Integrating the Swedish celebrations and yearly focus area into the store’s Commercial Calendar
  • To maximize commerciality to grow sales as well as the conversion rate and average check. Use other tools such as the CMP Review, customer flow and the 10 Most Frequent Questions to strengthen quality perception and customer experience
  • Co-operation with the Kitchen Production Manager, ensure following range matrix & PPSI, food displays are always fresh and look appealing with standard quality
  • Monitor, analyse and follow up the sales performance, secure the product availability and minimize the food wastage, ensure the SISAN and merchandising basic in place
  • Share to the team of the top-selling products, and that they are available and clearly communicated and always displayed
  • Co-operate with the SFM team leader to enhance the link between the Swedish restaurant and the Swedish Food Market. Take appropriate actions to promote cross merchandising/communication
  • Be a passionate leader who can bring business and people together. Inspired by the IKEA core leadership capabilities and strive to continuously develop as a leader and committed to the development of the team. Secure their training to ensure all co-workers understand the IKEA Concept and other key guidelines, and how they have an impact on their specific roles
  • Work together with the Kitchen Production Manager in the operation area according to the IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements and implement the IKEA Hygiene plan to meet and secure the store’s requirements. Also ensure the Hygiene plan routines are known and followed in all daily work
