KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as trusted business advisor and build trusted relationship with the business stakeholders and team members.
• Lead business partnering strategies including the end-to-end people transformation journey, from organization & role design, structure review, talent mapping and development, workforce planning, implementation and engagement support. Ensure the entire process managed in a value-led approach.
• Coach managers on developing their teams & managing the performance management process, building capability and identifying talents that are in consistent with our Values.
• Drive the discussion on post-engagement survey and play a partnership role in action planning working with various stakeholders, especially at store level, to drive staff engagement.
• Work with People & Culture (P&C) COEs to ensure we hire the right candidates under the recruitment and reward guidelines and principles.
• Act as the key contact point for business leaders in resolving issues relating to People, including performance management issues, employee grievances, organization design and succession planning.
• Lead and execute change management on people matters of assigned portfolio(s), including strategic planning on communication strategies and minimize any potential people risks.
• Deliver the annual salary review, bonus review and budget exercise and provide the accurate information to Finance and business leaders on timely basis.
• Deliver excellent core People & Culture processes and routines right first time, minimize grievances and complaints by ensuring people are treated with respect.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 7 years of solid business partnering experience in a matrix organization, preferably in Retail industry.
• Proven track record working with the business leader to deliver people transformation independently.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management.
• Well versed in HK Labour Ordinance.
• Strong ethical and compliance mindset.
• Agile, flexible and adaptable – understand the people dynamic, balance the needs on the People & Culture perspective and the business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to develop and manage effective working relationships with internal and external parties across different culture.
