About the role
This position is responsible for implementing all scope of technical functions according to Group Own Brand Technical policies and procedures, reviewing regulatory compliance for all Own Brand products to ensure they consistently deliver quality, safety and legality to meet specification, labeling requirement and customers’ expectations.

• As Guardians of the DF 3 Steps to Quality Program ensuring that Own Brands products are worthy of Brand, differentiated, warrant and maintain consumer trust and loyalty, be safe to use and consume 
• Ensure that our products meet all the DFI Retail Group Technical Standard Requirements (including Responsible and Ethical Sourcing) 
• Supplier Management / Product Management / Surveillance Management 
• Non-Conformance Management / Crisis Management 
• Effectively implement the Standard Operating Procedures that deliver the technical processes to meet Group Own Brand standards 
• Approve new products and ensure that all products consistently deliver quality, safety and legality to meet specification, labelling requirement and customers’ expectations. Handle local product registration/notification process for private label products with regulatory authorities 
• Manage customer complaints/feedback and proactively provide all technical information/action plan to relevant business parties 
• Manage new products to be tested in accordance with agreed test parameters/protocol. Follow up routine test and distribute the test result to Product Development manager and Business units 
• Support in-country Product Development team to select and approve new factory. Follow up improvement action plan subject to 3rd party factory audit result etc. 
• Upskill and manage suppliers’ performance by regular factory visit and 3rd party routine factory audit 
• Support country technical lead to provide all the technical support including local regulation update / contact point to other regions for all categories; or any other operational support needed from GDSG and local authorities. 
• Support BU’s regulatory enquiries for non-OB products including product legal classification / product labelling requirement / ingredient screening / license renewal / advertisement permit 

Do you have experience in Product & Technical Management? 

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Quality Management or related subject
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in beauty products (cosmetic, skincare, GMS) quality management, experience in retail industry and regulatory affairs is preferred
• Proficient knowledge of beauty related (cosmetic, skincare, GMS) manufacturing or product development.  Candidates with formulation background will be preferred.
• Familiar with HK & EU regulation for cosmetic regulatory requirement. Candidates with knowledge of other ASEAN countries cosmetic products registration and importation requirements are a plus.
• Strong knowledge in manufacturing processes and retailer QA/QC practices
• Experience in GMP, BRC and internal audit is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate effectively, work under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
• Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and negotiating skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft office (such as PowerPoint presentation skills)  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player
