Is that your next challenge in Promotion Planning Team?


The challenge is to: 


Promotion Planning & Strategy 

  • Develop monthly promotion plan aligned with marketing calendar, category strategies and vendor partnerships.
  • Lead the planning of monthly promotion with complexity of multi-tiered promotion and overlapping campaigns. 
  • Acquire alignment across different stakeholders and obtain approval from leadership team upon applicable
  • Translate sales/margin objectives into actionable promotion plans and programs, including categories focus, pricing mechanics, and channel execution.
  • Conduct sales and margin estimate analysis to ensure financial viability of monthly promotion plan

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work closely with commercial analytics, operations, marketing, and Off shelf display planning teams to align promotional goals with broader business objectives.
  • Manage a single source of promotion database for cross department action and follow up
  • Support vendor negotiations and rebate settlements tied to promotional agreements

 

Performance Review & Analytics 

  • Monitor promotion effectiveness using KPIs such as uplift, ROI, and cannibalization impact with support from commercial analytics team
  • Conduct post-event analysis to refine future promotion strategies and improve targeting
