The challenge is to:
- Aid in month-end closing by providing timely and relevant reports and explaining variances compared to benchmarks for improving the business operations.
- Contribute to the finance team in a variety of activities, including regular audits, feasibility studies for store expansion, refurbishments, lease renewals, as well as store performance analysis and CAPEX planning.
- Contribute to build strategy by budgeting, forecasting, and planning to determine and tracking the KPI.
- Validate the SOP compliance to ensure that appropriate internal controls are maintained.
- Coordinate with other business functions to collect and analyze data, offering recommendations and insights to enhance business operations.
- Address ad hoc analysis and inquiries timely, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Do you have experience in management accounting, business performance analysis or financial modelling?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in auditing, management accounting, business performance analysis or financial modelling. Big 4 background is a plus.
- Experience in retail or FMCG industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) / SAP is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- High self-motivation and pressure resistance, strong learning ability and team spirit.
- Proficiency in analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer focused demeanor.
