The challenge is to:
- Establish and maintain close partnerships with Store Support Center functions (“SSC”) for Food and Ikea formats.
- Ensure audits are conducted in adherence to globally accepted Internal Audit standards promulgated by the IIA.
- Appropriate planning and risk assessments are conducted, identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks and opportunities for improvements.
- Performs audit reviews to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques and documents the results of audit reviews in accordance with Group Internal Audit standards.
- Identify internal control deficiencies and opportunities to improve business effectiveness and efficiency, and to document the results in accordance with the DFI Group Audit Manual.
- Assist in monitoring and reviewing the close out of prior audit findings by management, and to timely report on overdue items to senior management for remediations.
- Assist in performing any ad hoc reviews, advisories and investigations as assigned, and provide practical and effective recommendations to management in enhancing the control environment within the Company.
- Responsible for stakeholder’s engagement to ensure smooth execution of audits.
- Any other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the Format Lead.
Do you have experience in internal audit?
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in internal/external audit
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Marketing or equivalent
- Have fundamental knowledge in principles of governance, risks and controls
- Proficient in MS Office
- Possess high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment that strive to exceed expectations
- Good communication, analytical and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and operate as a team
- Prior experience working in retail, operations/ supply chain or a matrix organization is a plus
- Willing and able to travel within and outside home country (20%)
