Space, Range, Display Senior Manager

This role leads the strategic and operational execution of both macro and micro space planning, range optimization, and display effectiveness across the retail network. The Senior Space, Range, Display Manager is expected to balance financial performance with customer-centric design, translating corporate wellness and health-led initiatives into actionable in-store experiences. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement across commercial, operations, design, and supplier teams.
The challenge is to:
Macro & Micro Space Management
- Oversee macro space planning including floor plan development, store zoning, and space rebalancing for new and refit stores.
- Lead micro space optimization through planogram execution, bay allocation, and fixture planning.
- Apply space productivity models to refine space allocation and improve space productivity
Range & Display Optimization
- Drive range rationalization cycles to streamline assortment and improve operational efficiency.
- Align category space and display strategies with commercial priorities
- Support newness initiatives and category innovation through curated display zones and educational fixtures.
- Continuously refine SOPs and data transparency tools to support decision-making for enhancing customer satisfaction and financial contribution
Customer Experience & Wellness Integration
- Translate company direction in wellness into store-level actions, including layout enhancements, and navigation improvements
- Ensure store formats reflect customer shopping preferences across clusters (e.g. tourist vs. local) and support omni-channel integration
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a key liaison between commercial, operations, design, construction, and finance teams to ensure cohesive execution
- Communicate SRD strategy and project updates across multiple levels of stakeholders, including senior leadership and store teams
- Lead cross-functional workshops and project briefings to align on priorities and timeline
Project & Performance Management
- Manage SRD project timelines, scope, and deliverables including equipment rollout, bay changes, and supplier fixture coordination
- Track and report on SRD-related budget achievements and space-driven sales uplift
- Continuously refine SOPs and data transparency tools to support decision-making and store performance tracking
Do you have experience in Space, Range and Display?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus
- Minimum 8 years of experience in trade marketing, or commercial, preferably within FMCG or retail sectors
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Deep understanding of the Hong Kong retail landscape and supplier dynamics
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
