Role Purpose
You will lead the development and execution of insight monetisation strategies within DFI, ensuring alignment in pricing and proposition across the group. You will coordinate closely with a 3rd party providing insight services to DFI’s manufacturer partners, our banner commercial teams, legal, and finance, to transform data insights into revenue-generating opportunities. Additionally, you will facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across teams to enhance monetisation strategies.

The challenge is to:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive insight monetisation strategy that drives revenue growth.
Identify new monetisation opportunities by monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
Ensure alignment of insight monetisation pricing, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies across all DFI business units.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Integration:
Serve as the central point of contact between the 3rd party insight service providers, banner commercial teams, legal, and finance.
Establish project governance, track monetisation initiatives against clear milestones, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure alignment between insight-driven monetisation initiatives and broader business objectives.
Knowledge Sharing & Best Practices:
Facilitate cross-team collaboration to share best practices in insight monetisation.
Develop and maintain a repository of case studies, performance benchmarks, and successful monetisation approaches.
Organise training and workshops to enhance understanding and adoption of insight-driven revenue models.
Business Development:
Prepare robust business cases, pricing models, and proposals to support insight-based initiatives.
Present regular performance reports and strategic updates to executive leadership.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of insight monetisation professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
Foster a culture that embraces innovation, accountability, and a customer-first mindset.
Do you have experience in Data Analytics or Insight monetisation?
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline (advanced qualifications are an advantage).
Significant experience (e.g. 8+ years) in data analytics, insight monetisation, or a similar commercial role, with proven leadership skills.
Demonstrable commercial acumen and a track record in developing revenue-generating strategies from data insights.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
Experience within retail or FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
Prior experience in retail customer insight monetisation with a leading provider (e.g. dunnhumby, Symphony AI, Quantium, Circana, or similar) is a strong advantage.
