WHY WE WILL LOVE YOU

  • You have at least 4 years of QA or software testing experience, preferably from retail and/or home furnishing business
  • You have experience in an omnichannel retail business model with adopted/internally built digital products, experience in building and driving testing Automation would be a plus
  • You have solid QA experience and contribution in major system revamp or Digital transformation project
  • You have experience in working with development team and/or in an Agile or scrum approach, good exposure to both QA for new development and BAU regressions QA process
  • You have solid Experience working with external vendor, consultant and solution providers
  • You have experience in Agile development and Scrum process
  • You have experience in Digital Product QA, exposure or experience working with product development (scrum delivery) a bonus

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Lead and drive the definition, preparation, and execution of testing strategies for IKEA Digital Product including Functional, System Integration and User Acceptance test phases according to the defined QA Test Strategy and Standards
  • Review and provide input to project schedule tasks, levels of effort, duration, testing risks and dependencies
  • Create requirements traceability matrices and conduct reviews with Business Analysts and Digital Solution Technical Analyst to ensure understanding of business requirements and complete test coverage
  • Create comprehensive test strategies and test plans and conduct reviews
  • Hands on execution of smoke test to determine whether the application is ready to hand over to user for UAT or not
  • Work with business user, BA, QA tester, for execution of UAT test cases, report bug, arrange fix and re-test. Use data mining skill to validate test results and prepare progress reporting for defect tracking and resolution progress to show application readiness for launch
  • Developing testing solutions that meet needs of business user and IT operation
  • Working closely with the product support team to execute regular regression tests on all levels of environments to ensure environment is in good condition and available for use when needed. Conduct testing post-mortems to define and document lessons learned and translate them to improvement to the QA test strategy and standards
  • Must have strong technical aptitude and analytic background needed to understand applications and data infrastructure
  • Build and drive testing Automation for IKEA NA’s Digital Product to support agile and scrum delivery
