Description & Requirements

Is this your next challenge in Category Management?

  • Responsible for the P&L of assigned category, formulate and implement category, sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial and Operations teams to deliver category targets and optimize overall performance.
  • Regularly assess market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and enhance customer offerings.
  • Utilize analytics tools to review promotional effectiveness, provide insights and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure healthy stock levels through effective demand planning, promotion planning and inventory management.
  • Prepare and communicate promotion schedules to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, explore new partnership opportunities, and support decisions on product assortment, pricing and promotional strategies.

 

Do you have experience in Category Management?

  • University graduate or tertiary education 
  • Minimum 5 years retail merchandising experience 
  • Good influencing and negotiation skill 
  • Analytical, creative, customer focused, open to change, well planned and self-motivated 
  • Good interpersonal and people management skill 
  • Good communication skill and good command of English and Chinese 
  • Knowledge of category management
