The Role
The Guardian E-Commerce Executive (App & Web) drives day‑to‑day online sales performance and operational excellence on Guardian Singapore’s digital storefronts. Reporting to the Guardian E-Commerce Manager, the role is responsible for Guardian App & Web operations and provides a clear bridge between Business and Digital & Tech teams to deliver a seamless omnichannel customer experience.
Responsibilities
Sales & Traffic Generation
Set up and QA all promotions, pricing, promo codes and campaign assets on Guardian Online to maximise conversion and sales
Coordinate with Marketing, Commercial and third-party agency & partners (creatives, affiliates etc.) to brief offers and secure traffic‑driving exposure (EDM, push notifications, paid traffic etc.)
Content Management
Maintain accurate, locally relevant product and campaign content and site/app layouts
Post‑Sales Operations & Customer Care
Liaise with Fulfilment Operations and Customer Service teams to deliver on‑time orders and speedy issue resolution
Systems, Quality & Issue Management
Log, troubleshoot and escalate bugs
Perform UAT for fixes and new releases
Facilitate standing calls with Digital/Tech teams, set agenda and capture next steps
BPO & SLA Governance
Work with the appointed business‑process‑outsourcing partner to ensure tasks are completed within agreed service‑level targets
Monitor KPIs and raise corrective actions when needed.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Track campaign / banner performance, site metrics (CVR, bounce, basket, NPS) and competitor trends
Recommend data‑led improvements
Prepare and refresh business SOPs to ensure operational excellence and continuity
About You
1–3 years’ hands‑on e‑commerce or digital operations experience within a leading omnichannel retailer or health & beauty environment (e.g., grocery, personal care, pharmacy). Exposure to both app and web platforms essential
CMS & promotion engine administration (Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar)
Analytics (GA4/Data Studio) and basic Excel for commercial tracking
Familiarity with Agile, JIRA/Confluence, UAT scripts
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage
Proven ability to facilitate weekly stand‑ups, capture actions, and coordinate with outsourced vendors against SLAs
Understanding of Singapore e‑commerce, payments, fulfilment and H&B category dynamics
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
